Today, as the Director for Leadership and Talent Development in ‘LZ Leadership International Pte Ltd’  and a TLP associate in Asia, Swee Heng uses his 30 years of passion for management and leadership excellence to help organisations raise their quality of leadership and management to ensure their long term organisational success.

Career Background
Participants benefit tremendously from Swee Heng’s 30 years of senior leadership and management experience; 12 years in the private sector/MNC and 18 years in the Singapore Air Force.

Swee Heng’s experience in the Air Force included being a senior head of a branch in Headquarters and a Commanding Officer of a battalion.  During his tour of duty, the battalion won the coveted Best Air Defence Unit.

In his 12 years of Multinational Corporation (MNC) experience, Swee Heng has served as the Head of Human Resources for world-class organisations such as Deloitte and Touche, a Big 4 professional services firm, and Reed Elsevier, and a FTSE-100 information and exhibitions company.

Achievements
Among his many achievements, he has led organisations in key OD initiatives such as; designed and conducted leadership development and talent management, designed and established new operating units in addition to closing offices and business units, conducted due diligence, implemented mergers and acquisitions plans, carried out major change management initiatives to overcome complex management, organisational and financial challenges, recruited and deployed talents from country managing directors to professionals for the region. Focused efforts in talent management and succession planning, designed and rolled out a comprehensive mentorship scheme and readily used and experimented with innovative ways to engage employees so as to create a high performing and fun environment.

Swee Heng was a management graduate from the University of Murdoch and was awarded the prestigious University Medal for his academic achievements.  He also has a Master of Business Administration in International Management degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
