Professor Richard Portes

Professor Richard Portes, Professor of Economics at London Business School, is globally recognised as a major contributor to the teaching and understanding of International Economics. He is President of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (which he founded in 1983), Directeur d’Etudes at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris (since 1978), a Rhodes Scholar and a Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford, and has taught at Princeton and Harvard Universities (as a Guggenheim Fellow).
