Michael Robson is Client Director at TLP, leadership development consultant and executive coach. Michael draws on over 30 years of industry experience, including 20 years in senior management and leadership positions. Key roles during this time include Head of Innovation, Head of Communications, and Business Excellence Consultant at British Telecommunications Laboratories.

Michael applies his wealth of industry, professional, and coaching expertise to the development of leaders and managers. His in-depth understanding of business practice and management realities enables him to align leadership and talent development with business strategies and challenges, and to ensure that development objectives are integrated at organisational, team and individual levels.

He covers the full executive development programme cycle from conceptualisation (including needs analysis, programme design and development) to implementation (including programme delivery, review of outcomes and continuous adaptation of the programme design). Specific areas of expertise include leadership and team development, strategy implementation, business performance management and benchmarking, R&D and technology management, business planning, and commercialisation of applied research.

He is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
